Alla Chernetska is an art historian, teacher-researcher and art critic. After receiving a PhD in art history from Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, she has devoted her research to alternative graphics since 1970 until now. As a teacher-research at Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, she introduced topics on graphzines and Outsider art in her educational program, questioning the duality between High Art and Low Art. Following her research at the Library of Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte in Munich, her book 'Stéphane 'Blanquet. D'hier à aujourd'hui" was published by Serious Publishing in Paris in May 2024. For the past ten years, she wrote many articles on Outsider art as an art critic, primarily for Raw Vision Magazine (UK).
