Naomi Vogt, who is about to complete her PhD at the University of Oxford, has been awarded an early career fellowship by the FNS (Swiss Research Council), which she will begin in January 2018 as a postdoctoral research fellow at UCL in London. Her publications have addressed the video work of Pierre Huyghe, French ‘banlieue cinema’, ekphrasis, as well as the work of Steve McQueen in an article on marginalized memory published in Third Text, considering film and video installation as monument. She is a co-founder and editor of OAR: The Oxford Artistic and Practice Based Research Journal.
