Workshop // Resources of Printmaking – Printmaking as Resource. Shifting Perspectives on Early Modern Print

Printmaking has long been viewed as secondary to canonical art forms. Its reproducibility, technical variety, and ties to craft and commerce have obscured its theoretical and aesthetic value. This workshop proposes a methodological shift: to approach early modern printmaking on its own terms. Illuminating ecocritical and relational insights, it reassesses the medium as both a consumer and a generator of resources.
