Vorstudie für das Pilotprojekt des JDCRP zur „Sammlung Schloss“
Ziel des Jewish Digital Cultural Recovery Project (JDCRP) ist ein umfassendes Inventar aller jüdischen Kulturgüter, die von den Nationalsozialisten und ihren Verbündeten geraubt wurden, von der Zeit ihrer Plünderung bis zur Gegenwart. Das Projekt ist eine gemeinsame Initiative der Commission for Art Recovery und der Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany. Das Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte (ZI) ist Kooperationspartner in diesem langfristig angelegten Netzwerk.
Mit Finanzierung durch die Europäische Union startete am 1.1.2020 das Pilotprojekt zur Sammlung Schloss. In Form einer methodologischen Vorstudie zum Verbleib der Ende April 1945 im Führerbau gestohlenen Werke testet das ZI im Rahmen dieses Pilotprojekts neue Modelle für die Auswertung von Auktionskatalogen und weiteren Primärquellen zum europäischen Kunstmarkt.

The Jewish Digital Cultural Recovery Project’s (JDCRP) goal is the creation of a comprehensive listing of all Jewish-owned cultural objects plundered by the Nationalsocialists and their allies from the time of their spoliation to the present. The project is a joint initiative of the Commission for Art Recovery and the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany. The Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte (ZI) cooperates with this longterm network initiative.
Co-funded by the European Union, the pilot project on the fate of the Adolphe Schloss Collection was launched on January 1st 2020. The ZI contributes to the pilot project a methodological study by testing new models for the evaluation of auction catalogues and other primary sources of the European art market on the whereabouts of the works stolen from the Führerbau at the end of April 1945.
